The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
